Lesson 15: Death may not be about dying, and if it's not, what then?

My Spirit knows.

Dear Reader, Like you, I'm on a journey of listening to my heart more, focussing on what's truly important to me and my family, and letting go of the fluff and sticky crap that holds me down. These are the lessons I'm learning every day. I hope you can relate. Love Brookh

There is something we're missing if we think death has anything to do with dying. Another dear friend of ours has passed.

Yesterday he was shot in his clinic by his secretary's (jealous) husband.

Chiropractors tend to be really nice people who have big hearts and want to serve. People love their chiropractor because of the incredible health benefits... so we are typically pretty happy people since we help thankful people everyday...Dr. Fred was one of the best men I've ever met!

From what I understand,  he was being kind to her, encouraging her to be her best.  I'm sure she was happy to go to work. Perhaps her husband didn't understand that she felt good going to work, simply because she felt useful, and appreciated there. He threatened Dr. Fred, shot him,  shot himself,  and he survived.

I hope he will spend the rest of his days helping others to be at peace in their life and happy when their family find their greatness.

Dr. Fred paid the ultimate price for us today, to look at how we're raising our boys and our girls and to check the example that we are giving them in our own thoughts, words and actions. Jealousy, anger, bitterness & unforgiveness are the cancer that we are all truly fighting.

Rest in peace dear friend.

Thank you Fred, for always showing up in the way we need you. Processing this will be tough, makes no sense in our human mind, but there is something in this for all of us.

Feel it.

Process it.

Let it go.

We must.

If you can relate, reach out or let me know in the comments below.
